In the previuos post i mentioned what Google AdSense is, but didn’t explained how it works. Advertisment programmes such as Google AdSense, Clicksor and others, works on the same platform. After you started publishing ads you will be able to earn money in to methods:

• First – get paid for the amount of times particular ad was show to visitor. This way is often called – CPM (cost per thousand inmpressions).  Example: 1000 impressions – 3$. That means if that ad will be showed 1000 times, you will get paid 3$.
• Second – get paid for clicks on the ads made by the visitors. The rate for every click is different.

The interesting thing about this type of advertising is that then you are creating the ad(customizing colors, size, etc), you have to choose the keywords by which random ads will be shown on your page, but every keyword has different value. That means that you will get paid differently for each ad. So choose keywords carefully. Your revenue depends from it.

Often Google AdSense and other providers give to types of ads: text banners and visual banners. As statistics show  visual banners are not so effective any more. Maybe this way Google is earning millions from their text ads.
